Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
In my opinion, national parks are very underrated. Nowadays, most people would rather go to the beach for a day then a national park for a week. However, Banff National Park is a breathtaking location. I have never been there, but I want to go. One of Canada’s oldest national parks, this place is filled with some glaciers, lakes, and the Canadian Rockies. The natural beauty speaks for itself:
One of my favorite activities to do is kayaking and with multiple lakes with gorgeous scenery, whats not to love? There are many other activities that can be done such as hiking and in the winter, skiing.
I was first interested in Banff National Park when I saw a picture of Lake Moraine. Now, all of their lakes are nice, but Lake Moraine and Louise are home to the scenic view of the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
The peaks reflect off the water, creating that picture perfect moment that many nature lovers come to see. There are many tourists that come here, but in a huge national park, you should be fine if you want to get away from people and enjoy the peace and quite. I recommend Banff National Park, especially the famous Lake Louise and Moraine for amazing views and an overall fun trip.
Bethany,
This national park looks like a beautiful place! I love the how water is a bright blue, a lot better looking than the color of the beach, haha. I’ve never visited a national park, but this has definitely sparked my interest. The picture with the lake and the cabin in the background is so cool, it looks like it came from National Geographic. It’s nice to get away from the real world and escape to a paradise!
The last image you posted of Banff National Park reminded me of how much I wish I could explore the natural beauty that the world has to offer. I loved how the water was clearer than the sky, almost to say that beauty exists in on the surface as much as the heavens. Moreover the mountains and the trees add tranquility to the national parks captivating scenery. This definitely has to be a great under appreciated wonder of the world.
