Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an emerging technology that is continuously evolving every day that passes. Its use in Information Technology is near limitless, and the potential it brings is exciting. That being said, it needs to be used responsibly like any other tool or technology.
Uses of AI
The most common uses of AI in IT are for data security, building efficient code, automating processes, optimizing IT functions, streamlining workflows, and gaining insights from enormous amounts of data. Although its use is spreading to other industries, AI in IT has completely transformed our computing methods.
How I used AI
In my personal experience, I’ve used generative AI to develop a brochure for a group of tourists as part of a class project. Details such as itineraries, destinations, the things to do, as well as the images were all created and generated using AI. I used ChatGPT to develop the descriptions, activities, and locations.
