One of my long-standing projects is iStudy for Success! It remains in my top five favs of accomplishment here at PSU. One of the iStudy tutorials deals with e-Portfolios, so I’m always on the lookout for new information in this area.

Recently, I’ve started to see Infographic Resumes, so I decided to create one myself.

I think these are a great way to make you stand out and grab an employer’s attention. They do not replace a traditional resume; they augment it.

While many folks will not possess the graphic design skills to create an Infographic Resume, some sites are emerging that can assist you: re.vu, Vizualize.me, and Kinzaa, are but a few sites that allow you to easily create an Infographic Resume. Sure, they are currently limited in what you can do and how you can arrange and show things, but in several years they will be robust products that will enable the masses to create a visual alternative to the text-only resume.
