Sabrin Stewart is a current doctorate student at Jacksonville University with double majors: accounting and finance. She graduated from The City University of New York in 2016 with a Master of Science majoring in accounting. Since she started her career as a tax accountant with one the best Big Four companies, PriceWaterhouseCooper (PwC), Sabrin has developed a special passion for taxation.  She prepares individual and small business taxes privately.   Her professional teaching experience includes working as an Adjunct faculty with Ashland University, Eastern Gateway Community College, and Washtenaw Community College where she taught both resident instruction and and online courses.  Her primary area of teaching is Financial, Managerial, and Tax Accounting. 

Sabrin is well diverse; she was born in Egypt, then lived in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, before moving to the United States of America around sixteen years ago. She also traveled to many countries in Africa and Asia. Sabrin speaks Arabic, English, and some French. 

She currently teaches Accounting Courses at Penn State Shenango and Penn State World Campus. Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her service dog named “Blocker”, named after a “mental blocker”, which is a psychological obstacle or limiting mindset that prevents you from completing important tasks and achieving success
