We are excited to announce the winner of the PSB MIS Club’s inaugural ‘Create a GPT’ contest: Ali Kodratallah Ostowar
Ali’s Cybersecurity Incident Simulator demonstrates his deep understanding of working with Large Language Models as well as their potential impact across numerous industries, including education.
Hi work shows a lot of promise as well as the opportunity to be applied to any discipline:
Initiating the Simulation Experience
- Incident Type Selection: Users can choose from various cybersecurity challenges like network intrusions, malware, phishing attempts, insider threats, DDoS attacks, data breaches, and more, including a “Surprise Me” option for randomized scenarios.
- Experience Level Selection: Tailors the simulation’s complexity to the user’s expertise, ranging from novice to expert levels, ensuring relevance and challenge for all participants.
Engaging in Scenario-Based Learning
- Each simulation unfolds within a virtual organization, with the user assuming a specific role, tasked with navigating through the intricately designed cybersecurity incidents, reflecting real-world challenges.
Scenario Generation and Strategic Decision-Making
- The simulation progresses through a series of decision nodes, where users must choose from multiple strategies, encompassing both effective and erroneous approaches, thus learning to differentiate between strategic responses under various circumstances.
Comprehensive Feedback and Analysis
- Post-decision, the simulation provides detailed feedback on the chosen strategies, evaluating their immediate effectiveness and long-term implications on the organization’s cybersecurity posture, alongside a thorough cost-benefit analysis.
Interactive Scenario Recap and Performance Analysis
- Concluding the simulation, users are engaged in a reflective recap and analysis, assessing their decision-making prowess, budget management, and overall strategic effectiveness, contrasted with an optimal path to underscore key learning points and areas for improvement.
