WELCOME

Work in the Busse Lab combines fundamental photochemistry, optics, experimental fluid dynamics, system design, and system analysis tools to develop innovative technologies in the water sector to improve human health and drive decarbonization and sustainability.

RESEARCH AREAS

Environmental Impact Assessments of critical water and energy systems to better understand the system impact and uncertainty.

Fundamental UV Inactivation studies to assess pathogen- and wavelength-specific inactivation kinetics.

Implementation and Evaluation of low-cost water treatment systems.
