SAP developed a Security Culture Toolkit with recommendations for building a Security Culture in organizations. According to Tim McKnight, EVP and Chief Security Officer at SAP, “Security has become a top priority here at SAP, with a need to build a workforce with a security mindset … true security culture is achieved with active engagement, education, and embracing the organization and local culture.” Tim McKnight also states, “Through SAP’s investment in universities, students will gain access to mentorship, experiential learning and job opportunities. These collaborations benefit SAP, but also the entire cybersecurity industry as SAP is doing its part to help close the skills gap in cybersecurity while reinforcing its commitment to advancing diversity in the workforce.” Penn State Brandywine is a proud beneficiary of SAP’s generosity to sponsor this conference aligned with these SAP security goals to provide an academic experiential learning focused Cybersecurity Conference. SAP’s Chief Trust Officer, Elena Kvochko, has emphasized “the importance for SAP to invest in diverse talent early to remain at the forefront of innovation and provide new opportunities.”
