Class Blog #1 – this I believe

I believe in being young and living your life to the fullest. I believe that one of the most important things in life is to make the most of everything. Try new things meet new people, and most of all make sure you never let anyone or anything hold you back. There is way too much to experience to not live your life to the fullest. It was the summer before my first year in college when my mom told me to make sure I take everything in and make sure I make these four years the best that I can. She said, “It’s not everyday that you get to go to college, some people don’t even get to go so enjoy it.” I promised her and myself that I would continue life the way I always have. I have never been one to sit out and I wasn’t going to stop my freshman year of college. I feel as people straight out of high school starting college; we need to do as much as we can. Take every risk, and opportunity that is available to us. We are way too young to stand back and let life pass us by. We all have difficult decisions we face as young people, and we surely don’t always make all the right decision, but this is the time to do it. We have to make every mistake possible and experience every lesson it results in. We have to use this time of independence and learning to figure out what we like, what we do best, and figure out who we are. This I believe is one of the most important takes anyone can have on life. I will not break the promise I made to my mom or myself of living life to the fullest. It’s something that I fully believe in and support. If there is anything that I could persuade anyone to do, it would be to have this outlook on life. Keep your head up with confidence, take in as much as you can, and don’t forget to take advantage of your youth and live it up. These are the years we will talk about for the rest of our lives, and when we talk about it I don’t want to say I wish I did that I want to say I am happy I did that.
