For the third project, we were not sold on our original idea. Therefore we knew we were the same major, broadcast journalism with a focus in sports and we both thought about how we can take something that we both have a passion for and make it hard news.
We knew that March Madness was in full swing and that we could make news out of that. With the world we live in today, its much more than a simple basketball tournament. We took the idea of the effect march madness takes on people. Whether its friendship, work, or restaurants, everyone is effected. I think we had a great story line and it had a lot of potential.
If I had to critique our project, we did not have the best interviews. We could have set them up a lot better, we also didn’t put a mic on them which effected our sound. There was a lot of background noise that effected our video.
I would like to redo this video because I know that we could have done this a lot better. But overall it wasn’t bad and I also enjoy working with Reina. We worked well together.
