The focus of this story will center on the flu season that is currently underway from the months of October to the month of May. With the temperatures in State College beginning to drop as winter approaches the flu virus will tend to spread faster than non-flu season.
2) People in the story
I would speak with several doctors at the Nittany Medical Center to ask them their opinion on what people in the community should do to prevent them from contracting the flu virus. I would ask speak to residents around the area to ask them what efforts they have taken if any to prevent themselves from getting the flu. I would also contact the health center on the Penn State campus to ask if they have been educating students about the flu virus.

I will get all my key details from the interviews that I conduct with the doctors from the Nittany Medical Center and the campus health services on campus. Numbers and statistics that show how many people are expected to get the flu virus.
- Beginning: I will begin the story by giving numbers and statistics that support the rising numbers of people contracting the flu virus. By providing these numbers, people will be alert and aware about the rising number of people contracting the flu around this time of year.
Middle: This is where I will tell viewers the symptoms of the flu virus and what you should do if you contract the virus. I will also use this portion of the story to focus on what doctors suggest you should be doing to prepare yourself and your loved one from the flu virus.
End: I will end it by showing what the Penn State University and the town of State College has been doing to educate and warn people of the flu virus. I will also use this time to give viewers a list of locations where they can go if they would like to get t
