The only time The Beatles have ever come to Penn State was Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center, even if only one member of the band was present.
Axle: Paul McCartney performed a concert last Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center. At 73 years old he sung, played the guitar and piano, and danced for three hours. There was a diverse crowd among the seats of the BJC. The majority of those at the concert were Beatles fans. This story will focus on long time fans’ reactions to the concert.
Riders: Music 109 professor, people who went to the Paul McCartney concert, those who work at the BJC that are fans of the Beatles.
Spokes: Nat sound from the concert itself and a lot of B-roll of the video played before McCartney came on as well as B-roll from the concert itself.
The Rim: The Beatles are one of the most iconic music groups of our generation/century. The fact that one of the Beatles played at the BJC is a huge deal. I think it would be a very interesting story.
