Axel – Zola Kitchen and Wine Bar downtown has expanded live music in their restaurant. The focus of my story will be how the live music is fairing and whether it is bringing in more business for the restaurant.
Riders – The people involved in this are the owners of Zola and the musicians that are performing there.
Spokes – The details of the story would be what made the owners bring in live music, business statistics before live music, business statistics after bringing in live music, what music will be offered and when.
Rim –
- Beginning: The beginning would start with a shot of College Ave and then of Zola. I would begin by introducing the restaurant and the recent renovations that it went through. I would then talk about how they are introducing live music.
- Middle: After the introduction, I’d introduce the owners of Zola and have them discuss what made them want to introduce live music. I’d also have them discuss business before and after, and what changes the live music has brought to the restaurant.
- End: I would wrap up the segment with an interview with a musician that performs at Zola and have him/her discuss what they like about performing and how they have seen business increase or decrease since introducing the live music. I would end the segment with a standup in front of the restaurant.
