Halloween in Centre County
Axle: Dressing up in costumes and Trick-or-treating for Halloween is the normal in the United States but it is always a matter of being safe during this time and specific night of Halloween. Since Centre County includes Penn State and due to the past crimes there should always be precautions taken by the parents of the kids trick-or-treating.
Riders: Parents of children who live in Centre County, people that live in the neighborhoods that have nights of trick-or-treating, students of Penn State, and the state college police department.
Spokes: I would go to a neighborhood and shoot kids trick-or-treating, b-roll of the costume stores, and SOTS from the parents, students, and the police department.
Rim: This story is to information Centre County parents of the dangers of letting children wonder off during the evening hours dressed in costumes which makes it harder to identify them.
In the beginning we will open up with b-roll of children trick-or-treating. Add commentary on Halloween and when the local days of trick-or-treating are held. Have the police SOT of them talking about safety on Halloween night and what the parents need to do. Show one the Centre County neighborhoods and have a parent from the neighborhood talk about trick-or-treating. Have one of the kids add a cute touch and talk about their costume. End with more b-roll and talk about the safety precautions.
