A man trying to save a dog from an oncoming train was struck and killed after he pushed the dog off of the track
The Riders (Who are the best people to tell the story):
The best people to tell the story are the police, investigators, firefighters and witnesses on the scene and the conductor of the train
The Spokes (Any memorable moments: bites, sound, track, stand-up?):
“The conductor hit the horn but at that point there was no way to stop the train”
The Rim (What are the beginning, middle and ending of your story?)
1) Beginning: Talks about how the man was walking along the train tracks with a woman and the dog when the dog began to run away.
2) Middle: talk about the conductor mindset when he saw the man and the dog both in front of him and realizing that he was unable to stop
3) Ending: Discuss how noble and courageous the man was for trying to save the dog from being hit by the train. Talk about human’s strong connection to their pets and how they are willing to do anything for them.
