The Axle: The Lyft rideshare app has brought its business to State College giving Uber a competitor, and already harder for Taxi companies in the area.

The Riders: The people to tell the story to be the people of the area. Informing that not only can Uber be a source but as well as Lyft. They are both rideshare apps that can get you to your destination when tai companies are not answering phones, or are too busy to service customers. Also the drivers of the competing Uber, and cabs as drivers will not have as much as they are used to, as they must split it with the new comer.

The Spokes: Peoples opinions on Uber and Lyft over the cab services. As well if they prefer one rideshare app to the other.

The Rim:

The Beginning: The story would begin with an introduction of what Lyft is and how it services people. The area’s that Lyft are already in now and what brought it to State College.

The Middle: In the middle of the story I would speak on how they are competing with Uber, and they are making it hard on taxi companies, as they are more efficient and reliable so people looking for rides in the middle of the night, as they are in higher demand.

Ending: I would end on how ride share apps have evolved or time and are giving places more of an urban fill with their technologies and services designed to make transportation easier and more personal. Also highlighting the jobs that have opened and the opportunity people have with these services.
