When I first heard of the course I was very excited. I never in my life thought I would be in a class that talks about social media in general, so it was very exciting for me, it was something that I couldn’t wait to see. I use social media not only for personal use but for my career. So I had it in mind that this class would be my favorite class because it’s a course that can benefit me in a way, its not stressful, and It’s a class that I actually can like for once.
- The two most important skills I learned in this course was how to use google analytics and marketing. I feel like this is so important because businesses promote products and services with their target audience all the time. Marketing is bigger than ever and its a good skill to have especially now. Knowing how to use Google analytics is important because you are able to figure out who the target audience is and know where they are coming from.
2. The two most important lessons I learned were to have confidence in your work and double check everything before you submit. During the social media spotlight project I was so scared to present my app idea because I thought it as something that was irrevelant to the course and that I would not be able to get a good grade on the presentation. It turns out that I did just fine and that I need to be more confident in my work. Double checking everything is something I should start doing more often as I have handed things in with punctuation and grammatical issues, and thats not something I want to continue doing so, I change my ways.
3. The impact of this course in my life will help me in the long run. I use social media for my music career, so me understanding how to market and how to use google analytics to get traffic to my profile will definitely help.
4. Like I said before, I really liked this course. It was very interesting, learning about all the things with social media. I have no complaints and I would recommend this class to other students.
