Apple Inc. is one of the largest and most well known tech companies in the world. With its products like the iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple TV and more, Apple has taken over the tech industry. With that, the company’s image on television and online is notorious for its clean and simple images that focus on their products themselves. Apple’s website design is easy to navigate, with its newest products featured on the main page, and the categories of products aligned at the top in tabs. Apple is also currently featuring a tab with COVID-19 resources and information.
As I mentioned before, a perk of Apple’s website is that is is very easy to navigate. The tabs at the top are very clear in directing you to products like Mac, iPad, iPhone, Watch, TV, Music and Support. Once clicking on one of those, you are brought to a general page featuring the latest products in that category, as well as a new set of tabs at the top with all of the product options. Moreover, the visual story that Apple is known for presenting is fluent throughout the site’s pages. When clicking on a product category tab, the pages that open up have images of the products from different angles, different colors, different displays on the product’s screens. These high definition images of the products and their usage allows the shopper to have an easier time imagining themselves holding the products in their hand without even going into the physical store.
My final thought on Apple Inc.’s website overall is that the communication between the company and the consumer is very clear and simple. For Apple product users, the site is great for adding to your collection of products or finding information for a newer version of your current product. Additionally, it is great for getting tech support right away through the website. For non-Apple users, it is a really easy site to navigate and find products you might be interested in, comparing different sizes and shapes, and so much more. Apple Inc.’s website truly is a great alternative to shopping in person.
