The Rim:
Beginning: I would begin with children and their parents entering the building and explaining the pageant (VO) along with different shots of kids getting ready and warming up.
Middle: Then I would interview parents about their own personal experiences in pageants and why they are good for their child and a little bit of their child’s involvement in pageants (SOT). I would show footage of their child as well with the parent’s voice in the background and cut to them.
Ending: I would also show the judges and interview the judges and their opinions on the pageant and why they do it and what makes their pageant special. I would end with a shot of all of the kids on stage having fun and a VO.
