Emily Whitehead, a 9 year old cancer survivor from Philipsburg, will be speaking for the Stand Up to Cancer TV broadcast this Friday.

Interview with Emily about what has motivated her all these years and how she feels to be able to share her story on national television
Interview with Emily’s parents about what they learn from their daughter and the hardships and successes they faced throughout this experience
Interview with any doctors that have worked with Emily describing her personality and how strong of a patient she is in comparison to being so young
Interview with community members about how inspiring and great Emily’s story is

The Rim:
Beginning: Starting with footage of Emily playing and just being her normal self, with VO explaining that she was diagnosed with leukemia 4 years ago.
Middle: Transition into interview with doctors/parents explaining the serious treatment she was going through and the hardships that have been faced. Transition into the recovery that she made with interviews from community members and parents about the hope that she has given so many people.
End: Interview with Emily talking about what makes her so motivated and different and how excited she is to speak on television with celebrities, what she’s planning on saying during her speech and what advice she has for anyone that needs an extra push.
