My weekly story idea is about State College’s popular Mexican restaurant, Chipotle closing abruptly on Wednesday September 10, 2014.
Axle: State College’s Chipotle closed on Wednesday September 10, 2014 after employees walked out on the restaurant.
Riders: Chipotle staff including managers and Chipotle’s corporate office.
Spokes: Memorable moments can include a picture of the sign on the door from the management staff, sound from the management staff on why they walked out, sound from the corporate office and also, sound from State College’s Chipotle customers.
Rim: The beginning of my story could start off with footage of Chipotle when it is extremely busy with even a line out of the doors. The middle can then show the sign on the door with sound from the employees explaining why they left and the conditions that Chipotle was in. The end of my story will show that Chipotle is now reopened and will include sound about how the corporate office dealt with the situation. I may also include sound from local Chipotle customers asking their opinion on the restaurant closing.
