The Axle:
A Blanchard woman was convicted for selling drugs that killed a 17-year-old boy. The boy was found dead after ingesting Xanax and Suboxone the woman, 27-year-old Kimberly Heverly, sold to him, and a jury found her guilty Tuesday.
The Riders:

The Spokes:
B-roll of people exiting court room, courtroom doors closing, the boy’s parent’s reaction and facial expressions, Heverly being taken away in cuffs, still photos of Xanax and Suboxone
Interview with the victim’s parents about how they feel about the conviction, whether they thought justice was rightly served, and what they think should happen moving forward
Interview with jury members (if possible) about the verdict, how they drew their conclusions (specifics about evidence), and if they think they made the right call
Interview with Heverly herself (if possible) about the trial, her opinion on the verdict, whether or not she feels remorseful, her emotions surrounding the whole incident
The Rim:
Beginning: Start with B-roll of people exiting the courtroom. Bring in anchor standup about the jury convicting Heverly of the crime. Flash pictures of the two drugs when they are mentioned.
Middle: Transition to the interview of the jury member(s). Then, use B-roll of the victim’s parents’ expressions to transition into interview with the parents.
End: Use the B-roll footage of Heverly being taken away to transition into the interview with her. Finish it up by showing B-roll of the last people exiting the courtroom and the door closing.
