The Axle: The story will focus on the release of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and how they are impacting business in the community.
The Riders: iPhone users, store owners and workers of various stores in the community, that sell either the actual phone or accessories for it, Android and other smart phone users that do not use iPhone
The Spokes:
-B-roll of people in stores buying the new iPhone/accessories
-B-roll of people testing out the new features of the phone
-Interviews with iPhone users and what they think of the new phone, why they wanted to upgrade and buy it, why they think its worth the money to buy all of the accessories for it
-Interviews with store owners and workers talking about how the release of the new phone brings in a lot of business and how they’re doing very well considering people keep coming in to buy the phone and new accessories for it and what that means for the profit of the store
-Interviews with Android/other smartphone users on whether they would consider switching to the new iPhone at this point or if they think it’s pointless considering its very similar to preexisting smart phones
The Rim:
-Beginning: B-roll of people buying the phone and accessories in stores with V/O explaining that Apple just released two new iPhones that are bringing in big business in the State College area and surrounding communities
-Middle: Transition to interviews with iPhone users explaining why they like the new phone so much and why they think it’s worth it to spend all of the money, then over to interviews with the store owners saying that their businesses have been booming due to the new products and that their sales are sky-rocketing because of it and how happy they are
-End: Transition to interviews with Android/other smart phone users saying that there is nothing special about the new iPhone, and then play B-roll of iPhone users testing out the features on their new phones with V/O saying that in the end it doesn’t matter because the consumers and sellers are extremely satisfied with the new devices and accessories
