Within this blog, I wish to explore and compare different cultures to both of my own. I grew up in Puerto Rico, and at the age of 13, I moved to the US. Being exposed to different cultures has made me aware of these distinct ways of life and created an interest in cultures that I have not been exposed to. For my passion blog, I want to explore the diverse cultures of my peers on campus. I plan to talk to people from different places and analyze how their cultures have impacted them and their choices while also comparing it to my real life experience with my own cultures. Cultural identity is an important aspect of society and at Penn State there are many groups and people that represent the world around us and I hope to succeed in writing an accurate representation of the culture of Penn State.
