Undergraduate Students Interested in Working in the CARES Lab

Motivated undergraduate students with interests in stress and coping research have a unique opportunity to participate in all facets of research in the CARES lab. The CaRES Lab strongly encourages candidates from underrepresented groups. Qualified candidates must be able to work in an environment promoting diversity, inclusion and multicultural perspectives. Our undergraduate research assistants (RAs) gain valuable research experience in preparation for later graduate study often earning research and thesis course credit along the way.

Interested undergraduates should download and complete a copy of the UGRA CaRES Application and submit via email along with your CV or resume to our lab manager, Allison Pequet (afp5582@psu.edu)

Ideal candidates for an undergraduate RA’ship in the CARES lab will be responsible, highly motivated, and able to dedicate at least 10 hours/week during business hours for 2 semesters. Availability during the summer as well as Spanish language fluency are both highly desirable.
