The Electrical team works on two things – the wiring harness and the data acquisition. The wiring harness includes the engine control unit, the display and all the electrical connections on the car. This sub-team builds a reliable electronics system for the car and is also responsible for the display system. For data acquisition, a complete data acquisition unit with an array of sensors will be developed to aid driver training, improve car performance and validate designs for other sub-teams.
