The Capital College Racing Ergonomics Team researches, designs, and creates all the parts of the race car that are interacted with by the driver. This includes the steering wheel, pedal assembly, racing seat, harnesses, safety equipment, and shifting mechanism. The ergonomics team has a goal of creating a safe, comfortable, lightweight and efficient design to connect the driver to the automobile using our knowledge of engineering design.
