Since 2014, the Penn State Center for Women’s Health Research has hosted Women’s Health Research Day (WHRD). Each year, the event showcases new research on women’s health and sex and gender differences from across multiple Penn State campuses. The event is sponsored by the Penn State Center for Women’s Health Research and includes oral research presentations, a panel discussion, research posters, and a keynote speaker.
UPDATE: The event on April 16, 2020, has been cancelled. We hope to reschedule. Please see special statement below.
Dear colleagues:
After detailed discussions with our Infectious Diseases Division and Penn State College of Medicine leadership, we regret to share that the Women’s Health Research Day scheduled for Thursday, April 16, 2020, has been cancelled. Given the growing number of COVID-19 cases within Pennsylvania and around our country, this decision has been made in the interest of your safety and that of our students, faculty, workforce and patients.
We intend to reschedule this event for a later date. We thank each and every one of your for your commitment to women’s health. We will send more information when we have it.
Warm Regards,
Jenn and Cynthia
