compete

Teams of participants need to register to compete. The 2022 Challenge is no longer accepting submissions of animated music videos. Please check back at the start of next year for the next Challenge.

Once registered, teams will be invited to virtual events with judges and other experts to help them develop their submissions.

The deadline to submit your entry is February 28, 2022 at 7pm Eastern Time.

Submitting your entry

The Accelerator Rap Challenge relies on You Tube to handle submissions. Please follow these instructions with care, or your entry may not be evaluated by the judges.

Before your register, you must invent a unique team name that includes no identifying information about you or your school. You must create a You Tube channel with this exact name. (Tip: Create the You Tube Channel BEFORE you register your team to ensure that your name is available.)

You must upload your animated music video to your team channel. You should set the video to “public” access and select the “not for kids” option. Finally, you must share the link for that video with the Accelerator Rap Challenge by sending in a form that registered teams will have.

The video must be in the channel and the form must be submitted before February 28th at 7pm Eastern Standard Time. No late entries can be accepted. (Tip: Upload your video and submit your form with at least an hour to spare just in case you encounter any unexpected problems.)

Just for registered teams

Over the arc of the Challenge, registered teams will be invited to a number of virtual events. You will get links to attend a kickoff session and Ask Me Anything sessions with the judges. You also will be invited to Insight Sessions with experts in the various competencies related to creating educational animated music videos. You will receive an invitation to a virtual celebration after the submission period has closed. And you will be invited to the Finale and Awards Presentation.
