About

I am a fifth-year dual-title Ph.D. candidate in Political Science and Social Data Analytics at Pennsylvania State University. My research and teaching agenda focuses on understanding leaders’ decision-making in the context of interstate conflicts, specifically those involving covert actions. Methodologically, my research involves text analysis and machine learning and I am interested in developing new methods in these concentrations that make quantitative analysis more efficient and accessible to researchers.

I previously studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where I received my B.A. in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Philosophy and a certificate in Arms Control & Domestic and International Security.
