A Beautiful Introduction to Coding

A Beautiful Introduction to Coding

With the new semester a few weeks away I’ve been going through last year’s notes. This usually results in a few articles/cases being added and some dropped (yes students, I do actually listen and respond to your feedback) but this year I’ve decided to do a much bigger overhaul of the class. The general idea of the class is unchanged but I am trying to put a bigger emphasis on using data to make supply chain decisions. In one conversation with Jason Acimovic (Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at Penn State) about expanding quantitative boundaries of our students I was told about the following article. Jason is probably going to use this in his supply chain analytics class but I think the broader world my meager readership needs to check this out as well. WARNING: This article is quite long and should probably not be read on a phone for interactivity purposes.
