Hello CI 560 classmates!
It’s nice to meet you! My name is Karen Friel. This semester will be a busy one as I will be taking both CI 560 and LLED 465 as my final two course towards my Certificate in Children’s Literature. This will be my 10th year working as a reading specialist. I am currently working with grade 2nd – 5th. I live in Springfield, PA with my family and have three children. At ages 18, 20, and 22, they are evolving to become more adults than children. My passions include nature and gardening. For both my physical and mental well-being, I try to go to the gym and work out daily, or at least five days a week. I am excited to start this journey together!
