English Equestrian

The Penn State Equestrian Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). It is open to full-time undergraduate students who have an interest in horses and hunt seat English-riding. The coed club is composed of riders of all levels of skill and experience, even students who may not have ridden previously. The club competes in 10-15 horse shows a year and qualifies for the regional, zone, and national championships. In 2013, the team was named 2012 IHSA Zone III Champions. Additionally, it has been named Region 1 Team Champions for 24 out of the past 26 years. Members are required to attend Wednesday evening club meetings held on campus. In addition, the club is active with social events, and philanthropic events such as THON. Ride on State!
