This image depicts two miners, both moving towards an unseen cavity full of diamonds–the object of their efforts. The lower miner has unknowingly almost reached the diamond haul but has decided that the work that he had done thus far was good enough and putting in more effort will not provide him any benefit. Discouraged, this lower miner shrugs his shoulders and walks away. The upper miner eagerly digs forth, working hard to try to accomplish his goals of striking it rich on diamonds.
This image, as a whole, is arguing that the working mentality must shift from one of ‘good enough’ to that of ‘endless hard work.’ At this particular point in the Penn State semester, with the end so very near, this image is incredibly relevant. We must not give in to the ‘good enough,’ but instead push ourselves just a little bit longer until the semester ends and we can relax and recharge for the next long haul.
Over and Out.

I have seen this image multiple times and have always loved the message! I love how you related the image to the upcoming final exam week and how we should push ourselves to not just do enough but to push beyond and exceed.
