Applications are currently being sought for the next cohort of Cohen-Hammel Fellowships. To be eligible applicants must be a first-year student at Penn State Berks who intends to graduate from Penn State Berks with one of our 20 baccalaureate degrees. Applicants should have a record of academic excellence and service/leadership activities. Applicants will be evaluated on their academic achievements, their résumé, letters of reference, and an essay about leadership.
Please submit the following materials by March 11, 2024:
- Current résumé
- A 1000-word essay in response to the following:
- Describe a person who exemplifies good leadership (someone who you have worked with or someone who demonstrates this in their public life). What makes you recognize this person as a leader?
- Describe a way that you see yourself using your leadership skills to make a difference/have a positive impact in your community.
- Two letters of recommendation (can be a hard copy or electronic copy) sent to:
