Cole Emotion Regulation Lab

So many emotions to regulate here in the Cole Lab!

We are so proud of Dr. Mirella Maggi for successfully defending her dissertation.  Mirella has been an invaluable member of the Cole Lab for the past six years.  We will miss her dearly, and wish her the best of luck as she begins her Clinical Internship at Dartmouth!

Our newest Nittany Lion Inner Space Scientist had a blast in our fMRI scanner and loved getting to see pictures of his brain!  Staff members Rachel Wolf and Dr. Pan Liu helped him practice being still, and he did a spectacular job.  Check out the Processing of the Emotional Environment Project tab to get involved in this project!

Lab members gathered together at Dr. Cole’s house for a dessert party to celebrate the end of the semester and the graduation of several undergraduate research assistants!

The Spring semester is about to begin, but here in Happy Valley we are still waiting for our beautiful snowy winter to come!  Despite the cold, our lion doesn’t quite look like this one yet.  We hope you had a wonderful holiday season.  Check out our open Undergraduate Research Assistant positions for the Spring 2016 and Summer 2016 semesters!
