Opportunities

Penn State Graduate Students:  Become a CoMET Trainee

• Join the research group of one of the CoMET faculty
• Complete the course work for the Computational Science Graduate Minor, including our two DFT Fundamentals and Applications Courses (Chem 566 and Physics 512)
• Attend the CoMET Seminar Series which includes presentations on both research and professional development
• US Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for CoMET Fellowships and must complete a capstone design project, in addition to the above requirements

US Graduate Students:

• Attend the COMET International Summer School and gain exposure to world leaders in computational materials science, including those skilled in the development and application of ab-initio techniques. Travel support will be available.
