Al Jazeera English features an excellent weekly program about the media called The Listening Post, and I highly recommend their recent episode devoted to news coverage of Israel’s current war in Gaza. It features an informative interview with Sherine Tadros, who left her award-winning career in journalism after questioning the way that reporters are expected to remain neutral when reporting from war zones. She is now the Deputy Director of Advocacy and Representative to the United Nations for Amnesty International.
