Actually I didn’t like the movie, I don’t think the movie can touch me not let me have a deep look of those characters. However, for human future prediction in the movie, was very cross. The future of humanity’s probably would follow this  trend, if we continue to rely on science and technology. The future of human in the movie, see a doctor, cooking, farming…… such as very basic things in life based on the technology, but techonology also take away other things from us.

Digital Nation

With the blog, podcast, Twitter’s development . “media” forms such as the emergence of the network into the era of digital. Internet users can be information gatherers and publishers, the traditional waiters and recipients of one-way relationship is broken. In today’s Internet age, the virtual network society into social media for an acquaintance society, the interpersonal relationship of joining in the network, to a certain extent, strengthened the network role in solving the problem of social reality. When the Internet into our life world, it soon became an integral part of our life, meet people’s cognition to become a whole new world. Cognitive rightly belong to the needs of the senior level. However, in today’s era of rapidly changing and increasingly complex society, cognitive needs has become a basic need of people. In modern times, people in all kinds of information convergence in the ocean, to a certain information, which can identify to eliminate uncertainty, you need some information to assist, to a large extent on the Internet can meet people’s growing cognitive needs. In a sense, the Internet is like a huge, open, flat at any time, very convenient, provides the new knowledge in the library, it can be anywhere at any time to search for his knowledge or information you need.

Radio days.

Woody Allen’s “radio days” offers a broad analysis of the American cultural world and social relations. This movie is my favorite of the whole semester .This movie has put into consideration the American cultural practices as well as various socialization factors within the American communities. To some extent, the utopian society is portrayed in the radio day’s movie though these types of societies ceased being into existence a long time ago. Specific interaction and thematic settings within this movie include the national consensus versus the nativity, the racial subcultures and immigrants as well as counter cultures. This movie of 1987 is a comedy that represents real life experience. This film also looks into an example of a typical American family lifestyle during the golden age of the radio as one of the basic socialization elements and as an impact in the cultural practices and lifestyles.

Joe explains the cultural impacts of a radio in a family’s way of life. Radio in their era was basically one of the most important agents of socialization and civilization. Through radio stations, children got their mentors. Though it was challenging as some were positively influenced while others negatively affected by the radio stations and the lyrical musical systems played (Allen, 2006). Woody Ellen’s childhood was, therefore, throughout the movie influenced by the radio factor let alone the later emergence of television (Allen, 2006). The movie portrays young Joe’s experience in mid and late 1930s in the commemorations of his urban legends and mentors who greatly affected his behavior as a teenager.

The Social Network

This is perhaps my favorite film because it really shows the story of facebook. This is something I use at least once a day and seeing how it was created is a real interesting story. Mainly Zuckerburg was a real asshole. It is kind of crazy watching this man burn so many bridges and lose such close friends just for no real reason. I never understood during the movie why exactly he would screw over the friend that helped him so much in the start. We see a real self centered arrogant young man and it really shows the site of facebook really is not a happy place. There is as much drama on our daily news feeds as there was in making the site itself.

this film does a great job of poking fun at our culture and habits while still being funny and entertaining. One of the great spoofs of this show is that of jackass through ow my balls. We see (in the movie) a show that is dedicated to a man getting hit in the sack over and over in more ridiculous ways. Sadly, this is fairly close to what a lot of today’s TV is about. Shows and movies like Jackass really glorify being stupid and doing things that are self harming just to get a few cheap laughs.

In one of the most twisted films we have watched all semester we see a very smart film on a world in which we gorge ourselves on every pleasure or fantasy we want. This is largely do to the creation of the internet. Through this we all can quite literally have any sick thing we want to see with a few keyboard clicks and the press of the mouse. This creates a world of de-sensitization and an overall disconnect from what we would normally view as disturbing material.

This is perhaps my favorite movie we have viewed all semester long. I really enjoyed the aspect of the making of a movie, within a movie. When we look at this film through the eyes of those making it. What I loved most about this movie is learning what started an entire genre of film. This film (being the original) was such a powerful film because it gave audiences something they have always longed to see in a feature film. This inspired movies like Django unchained down the line which still follows the same lines of what Sweet Sweetbacks badass song started decades earlier.

Talk Radio

Talk radio is such a well done movie because it really shows the sick nature of a media audience. For example: everyone calls this guy up to just get laid in to. It plays with the idea of relying soley on another person to tell us right from wrong. People are so dependent on another persons words they will let themselves be berated. The end scene is very moving when he just loses his mind on everyone but they still call in.

Meet John Doe

This film does a really good job of putting us int he shoes of the average every day man. The irony in this film is that he becomes more then the average man. You are no longer the everyday guy if your face is seen all across the nation. A great scene is when he is in the diner and everyone knows who he is.

How Social Media Changes Film

The film we watched a few weeks ago, Social Network, did a great job of illustrating the formation of one of the biggest social media companies in the world.  The story shows how Facebook became what it is today.  Besides the actual film itself, Facebook and social media have become of massive importance to the industry.  They are used in a variety of ways, especially in marketing and advertising.  Social media has become of massive importance to the film industry.  Facebook now hosts massive events that allow the release of trailers, characters and dates.  I am interested in everyone’s opinion on this matter.  How has social media changed the landscape of film?  Do you believe that it has been positive or negative?  How will film change going forward with this?
