Check In/Check Out

Check In Time is 8:45 am – 9:00 am. Location: Hallway outside of 219 Westgate Lobby.
Check Out Time is 3:00 pm. Location: Hallway outside of 219 Westgate Lobby.
Parking
Parking is available in West Deck for $1 per hour. From N. Atherton Street, turn on White Course Drive. West Deck is just down the road past the new construction. Take a ticket as you enter, and keep it with you. You must pay for parking before returning to your vehicle.
Drop-off/Pickup
If parents have given permission for campers to sign themselves in and out, they can be dropped off/picked up at the roundabout in front of West Deck or next to the Westgate building by entering the Red A parking lot by the bus station. Pass the bus station and turn right at the stop sign, then follow the road behind Research West Building. Westgate will be in front of you to the right. Do not leave vehicles unattended in drop-off zones.
Dining
Campers will eat together. Lunches will be catered at the with options for food restrictions. Snacks and beverages will be available for campers. Feel free to send a refillable water bottle and personal peanut-free snacks.
Supervision
All School of EECS Camp Staff and Faculty have completed clearances and background checks to work with youth. From 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Camp Faculty Leads, Staff and Mentors, who consist of CSE Graduate Students, will help guide the campers through activities and provide support when creating projects.
Cell Phones
To ensure that campers have a fully immersive experience, campers will be encouraged to silence their phones and put them away during camp hours and activities. If a parent/guardian needs to contact their child during camp for any reason, call Heather Gummo at 814-863-8143.
Medication
Penn State program officials will not dispense over the counter or prescription medications to campers.
