Frank Fernandez is a 4th year PhD Candidate in the Higher Education program. Frank serves as a graduate assistant for the Center for the Study of Higher Education.

He received his A.S. and A.A. from Imperial Valley College in Business Administration and Social Sciences, and his B.A. from the University of San Diego in Political Science and International Relations. Frank also completed his M.A. at Stanford University in Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies.

Frank’s current research interests include community colleges, proprietary education, non-traditional students, student veterans, transfer student issues, and the politics of higher education policy.
