Artificial intelligence (AI) tools can be used as part of activities and assignments to enhance student learning. As part of using AI tools effectively, it’s important to understand how to craft a prompt as it impacts the information the AI tool provides. In addition, being able to craft effective prompts has become a career skill in today’s workplace. It’s important to support students in learning how to effectively use AI tools and how to craft prompts for use with these tools. In this session, we’ll explore prompt writing and the output that different prompts can provide. We’ll also explore strategies for integrating prompt writing in courses.
