This I Believe Ideas

January 12, 2017 by cvc5853

For this I believe, I have to find something that I genuinely believe. However, as I am very sentimental, it is very hard to decide on two ideas. After some time though, I have come up with for my podcast.

  1. The first idea is my passion for car rides. While they seem simple, they are something I dearly enjoy as they are a time I can think and talk about anything with my friends. I would always have a certain playlist that I would play in the background that would help me relax during this time. It also allows me to get into the idea of my emotions and how I view friends along with being comfortable.
  2. The second idea I have is texting. While texting is something everyone did, it was something I did before I slept every day as it allowed me to keep up with everyone along with relax me after a long day of working. This would allow me to expand about how I have grown into an extrovert and why companionship is important.

I hope one of these ideas would be a good topic for my This I believe podcast.

Both of these topics seem very unique and interesting. Texting is often associated with negative connotations, and taking a different approach on this will be great to hear. I also think the idea to a car ride will be effective. Both seem to a void running the risk of being cliche. You will just need to focus on keeping them interesting and I believe your podcast will be a success!

I think your first idea would be an interesting approach to a “This I Believe” speech because you could start out by telling about an experience that you have had while in a car ride. I think that this would definitely grab the readers attention and also establish some credibility as we can all relate to a fun car ride we have had with friends in the past.
Your second idea about texting could also play into technology and how you have used it as a way to truly connect with your friends and made it a part of your daily routine to go out of your way to communicate with them. You could also say how having the option of texting makes it a little easier for someone to become extroverted because we have the ability to communicate at our fingertips.
I think either topic would be interesting and I can’t wait to see which one you pick!
