Remember the feeling you receive when you head into your first day of classes in a new classroom? Now think about how everything seems different and unfamiliar. Now take that up a step and imagine if it was the first day in a school in a different country. The aim of this project is to demonstrate the difference between American and Chinese schools. The project will highlight the feeling and experience of being in either country’s schooling. Speaking in generality, the schooling in China is known to be more strict and the idea of education is taken more seriously. Compared to its counterpart, American education has transformed into just wanting students to pass, not really focusing on the content and whether or not the student has actually learned something. Hence my focus is to create a model of the classroom of both places to contrast the styles.
