I overall thought that your post was good! I have never been in a type of sport that heavily focused on team aspects (track and field) but I can still relate to having a mentor to help you push through when you feel as though you can’t. It would have been interesting to hear more in-depth stories related to you personally about a coach(s) who helped or ruined a game for you.
I thought your podcast was really good! I think you did a good job narrowing down the story, it was easy to follow along with.
As someone who played sports in high school, I agree with you that coaches (and parents) have a huge impact on the lives of young people, for better or for worse. While having a few coaches that you don’t see eye-to-eye with is inevitable in team sports, I agree with you that the ones who have served as mentors have taught me many invaluable lessons. Great job!
