Thanks for your interest! Applications are currently closed for our next workshop at Washington University in St.Louis on November 5th and 6th, 2019. Please check back for more opportunities to collaborate on community-driven resources for data curators and data curation education.
Join us for the third of three, free Specialized Data Curation Workshops located at Washington University in St.Louis – November 5th and 6th, 2019. We apologize for our workshop dates occurring during voting days in many states of the United States of America. The National Conference of State Legislators (NCSL) has general information about alternative voting options, please see: Absentee & Early Voting. Specific information on how to vote may be obtained through individual state government websites.
There is no cost for the workshop, which includes breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks. However, we are limited to the number of applicants that can attend. To ensure a good mix of data librarians, subject specialists, and functional experts we’ve established an application and selection process for the workshops. Please take care to fill out the entire application form with your complete answers to all questions.
Selection will be based on:
1. Identified functional or subject skills, and
2. Expressed use of specialized data curation skills learned through the workshop
A limited number of scholarships are available for participants who would like to attend the workshop, but have limited resources. If you are applying for a scholarship, please complete a workshop application and an appropriate scholarship form below. Funds of up to $1500 are available to help offset the costs of attending the workshop.
