Job Description

I am appointed as an Associate Teaching Professor of Geography.  My primary role is to teach courses that are offered to students enrolled in our online geospatial programs. This is a rewarding position that allows me to pass on some of my GIS knowledge to highly motivated IT professionals around the world. I took this position in July 2000, after having worked as a GIS Analyst with Penn State’s Population Research Institute and Chester County (PA). My areas of specialization are spatial databases, GIS programming and web mapping. In addition to teaching online professionals, I also developed a database/website used by program faculty/staff to handle a wide array of tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of the program.

Personal

At home, I have a wife, son, beagle and cat.  I can often be found at Pegula Ice Arena playing hockey or coaching my son’s team.
