UP: Penn State Climate Consortium featuring Jonathan Marks

Jonathan Marks will present “Written in Wind and Water? The Evolving Right to a Healthy Environment in Climate Litigation” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, in 117 Earth and Engineering Sciences Building.

The Penn State Climate Consortium will host its next Climate Conversation Café featuring Jonathan Marks, professor of bioethics, humanities, law and philosophy at Penn State. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, in 117 Earth and Engineering Sciences Building. Attendees may also register to participate virtually. Registration is required.

Join us for a discussion between guest speaker Joe Cozza, Senior Advisor of Brown Advisory, and students within Public Diplomacy – School of International Affairs, the Paul Robeson Cultural Center, International Business (IB 303) – Smeal College of Business, and Comparative Law – Penn State Dickinson Law from 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. on Monday, November 3. The event is open to all students and to the general public. Ambassador Andrea Canepari and Dr. Roberta Fusaro will moderate the discussion among the students and the guest speakers.
The event will take place in the Reading Room of the Montague Law Library, Lewis Katz Building. Entrance to the Montague Law Library is located on the second floor.
This event is co-sponsored by the Paul Robeson Cultural Center. Lunch will be provided.
