Apply for a Paid Public Interest Internship (Summer 2026)

Looking for meaningful legal experience this summer? Apply for a paid Summer 2026 public interest internship through the IOLTA program.

Program Details

-Funding available: The law school can support up to 14 paid internships

-Stipend: Approximately $8,000 for 375 hours over 10–12 weeks

-Eligibility: Open to 1Ls and 2Ls

-Priority consideration: Public Interest Scholars

-Rural placements available: Includes an additional $1,500 stipend

How to Apply

  1. Log in to Law Lion Careers – Career Portal
  1. Go to the Jobs section and search for “IOLTA”
  2. Complete and submit the IOLTA application.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, serve the public, and receive financial support while building your legal career.

Farm Fresh Broadband: The Politics of Rural Connectivity

The Manglona Lab at Penn State Dickinson Law and the Antiracist Development Institute present, “Farm Fresh Broadband: The Politics of Rural Connectivity,” the inaugural event in the Manglona Lab Forum (ML Forum) series. This event will take place on November 20, 2025, at 3:00PM at University Park and be simulcast to Carlisle.

Author and inaugural ML Forum guest speaker, Christopher Ali, Ph.D., Pioneers Chair in Telecommunications and Professor of Telecommunications at Penn State, will discuss his book Farm Fresh Broadband, which examines the politics of broadband policy, highlights the rural broadband divide in America, explores the policies that have failed to bridge the divide, and urges action.

The first 20 law students to register will receive an autographed copy of the book. Refreshments will be served. REGISTER HERE.
