Discover instruction librarians’ attitudes, practices, and vision of privacy literacy (PL). This paper reports on interviews with twenty librarians actively engaged in PL instruction with diverse student populations at an array of institutions. Participants discussed how PL relates to information literacy, their rationales for and philosophies of PL, the barriers they encounter when delivering PL and strategies for overcoming them, student response to PL initiatives, and reflections on how PL is evolving, in the larger profession and within their personal practice.
