Call for Poster Sessions:  Bringing the Immersion Program Back Home

Saturday July 11, 2009 3:30-5:30

Alumni of the Institute for Information Literacy Immersion Program are recognized as leaders in teaching lifelong learning skills, improving techniques for assessing learning outcomes and in creating environments of discovery. The four Immersion Tracks are: Teacher Track, Program Track, Intentional Teacher Track, and the Assessment Track.

The ACRL Immersion Alumni Program Planning Working Group is looking for individuals or groups who have participated in the Information Literacy Immersion Program to submit an application for a poster session. The purpose of the poster sessions will be to provide an informal forum for the exchange of ideas and research related to the Immersion experience. Apply to share your successes and challenges at the 2009 ALA Annual Conference.

Poster presenters will have 30 minutes to present after the 60 minute panel session.
